Nobatek/INF4

General presentation

Nobatek/INEF4 is a French private non-profit technological research centre and National Institute for the Energy Transition working to promote innovation in sustainable development and Energy Efficiency in building technology, architecture and urban planning. It employs more than 60 people, mainly civil, material, environmental and energy engineers as well as architects, with a turnover of around 5.3 Million € for 2019 and offices in four locations in France: Anglet (HQ), Bordeaux, Paris and Rennes.

NOBATEK/INEF4 on Deconstruction and Reuse

Regarding Deconstruction and Reuse, NOBATEK/INEF4 carry out R&D activities on :

• methodologies to improve Diagnostic and reuse processes

• digital support tools

• characterization and insurability of reused elements (ex wood pieces)

NOBATEK/INEF4 in the DDC project

NOBATEK/INEF4 mainly coordinated the pilot operations of the project. The center participated also to the market survey, the definition of the specifications for DDC tools, brought his expertise in RiHs
