Kerloc is a bio-based sheet material using fibers from residual materials from agriculture, horticulture and forestry.
This technical ceramic sheet material is formed at a low temperature through an exothermic reaction. As a result, no additional heating is required and energy consumption in the process is low. During this process, the fiber material petrifies.
Aesthetically, the mineral board is coated with a KEIM mineral coating with high fire resistance (A1). Kerloc is completely and infinitely reusable within its own production process.
The plate can be attached in several ways:
– Invisible mechanical fastening
– Screwed
– Potted
Due to its long service life (> 50 years), Kerloc is suitable for disassembly/ reassembly. Kerloc can be taken back at the end of its service life and completely reused to manufacture new Kerloc boards. This includes the mineral Keim coating applied to the boards.
